Hey watch experts. I saw a Waltham Diamond Express pocketwatch at the Orlando show. What a beauty. what can you tell me about this particular Waltham watch?

According to C.Shugart's COMPLETE GUIDE TO WATCHES 2004 edition, page 123:

Diamond Express, 16 size, 17J, M#1888, Pendant set, Open Face, Diamond End Stones (2 star rating- sparce)
750 - 1,000 - 2,000. Cool Cool

There is a photo in Ehrhardt's Volume 1, American Pocket Watches of an example of this watch and production is estimated there as 50.

Thanks for the pictures Phil. However, the black and white picture does not do justice for this watch movement. In baseball terms this movement is a home run.
