Would anyone have a way to identify the grade number on an 18s model 5 Seth Thomas? I am getting one, a 17J adjusted lever-set 2-tone OF # 215188.To me, it's maybe a little unusual because it is marked "17 Jewel", not "17 Jewels".I have many books with pics of these model 5's, but haven't seen one marked that way, and there isn't much info on the internet that I could find.I'd like to know what grade it is,being adjusted, it may have been RR grade at the time it was made.It has a fancy, elaborate 2-tone pattern on it,I've seen some pretty close, but they all had the "s" at the end of the word jewel.Thank you!

The model 5 Seth Thomas #215188 should be a Grade 182 which was an "ADJ", L/S watch.
There didn't seem to be any "ryhme or reason" to Seth Thomas' madness of marking some with an "S" and others without an "S" at the end of the jewel count. Some didn't even have a jewel count, even their highly prized Maiden Lane grades sometimes had no jewel count, sometimes an "S" sometimes not and even some were marked "21J" on the Maiden Lanes
