Help with 14s Waltham Hillside movement "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I am having trouble trying to remove this movement from the waltham case, and assume it has a male stem, there are no case screws. I removed the screw from the case winding collar but still can not pull the female winding stem out so I can free the movement from the case. Any suggestions would be helpful! it is a model 1874 #2146108

It will be a male-stem & should have a case-screw on the back of the dial-plate near the outer edge of the Balance-cock foot, this is close to the Balance-wheel when putting a screw-driver there, so be cafreful. Can you upload some clear pictures?
