Keith put this up for sell and I was fortunate to be the first to take it. I have a series of before and after photos.

It needed a new dial. I had one but it had a few chips and hairlines but was better than the original.

It was also missing the second hand and two dial screws. The rear cover had a dent in it but I got most of it out.

This is my first South bend and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

After. I replaced the dial and repaired the edge chip between the 7 and 8 and around the left side of the center hole. Also two tiny nicks at the sub second dial the 7 and 5 position. I also cleaned the hairlines and replaced two dial screws.

It did not have a second hand so I found a 18s gold hand to I don't know what and I cut it down and took a brooch and a Scripto marker and made it work. So the second hand does not match but it is better than nothing.

Great Job! That movement with Fish Scale damaskeening is well worth the work. So very few Soth Bends made, every one is a collector's item.

Harry-

The double sunk dial looks great on it! Now when are you going to stop collecting those hamiltons and convert over to a SB collector? Big Grin

Thank you everyone. Jared I am always on the lookout for a good deal on a quality watch so I may pick up another South Bend in the future. Keith was so kind to make this one affordable.
