I got this little beauty in the mail today. I bought it because I liked the damaskeening pattern. Has anyone seen this type of pattern before?

The watch is a 16s Illinois 17J Grade 304 based on the serial number 3436692. It was recently serviced with a new mainspring installed, so I couldn't go wrong with the $150 price.

The dial on this watch is also new to me with interesting numbers and a curved ILLINOIS. The watch had a scratched up crystal, but when I took off the bezel, the double sunk dial was near perfect with no hairlines. The hands are mismatched, but I just bought over 100 Illinois hands so I think it will work out.

That is a grade 304 finished to be a very nice carry watch. Yours is in magnificent condition and has the extra fancy damaskeening used on only some of the 304's made.
