How come the auctions are in different catagories? Shouldn't they be in just the auction section?

On the final day a link is often provided in the appropriate forum, for example a pocket watch will be linked here to the "Pocket Watches" forum. I understand that is intended to help provide additional interest and a reminder to those interested in bidding.

By the way, those are merely links, it does not permit the public to have IHC185 Members Only Auctions access. If you log-out you will see only the title, none of the details. In theory that will cause more people to join in order to participate.

IHC Members Only Auctions are available to all members, there are no fees.

Brian, That is why, at a suggestion from a member, I have been posting a notice of a new item up for bids with a pcture of the item. When a guest looks at this, then cannot see the auction, we hope to encourage them to join. If this is bothersome I will stop doing it. We need all of our members to stay happy. Life is too short to be bothered with the small stuff. Big Grin

Phil & Lin,
It's no bother at all, and I can understand why you're doing it. I just thought it was kind of funny to see auctions in the different forums.
Whatever works,

Brian, You didn't say you were happy. Don't make me send those sleeping cops after you again.

Hey Phil,

Do those guys patrol your neighborhood? Did you feed them too many donuts and not enough coffee? Smile

Phil,
I'm happy. Please don't send those guys to my house again. Razz
