Hello everyone; I just have to show you all what I came across today. I was at my local watchmaker/repairguy across town this afternoon trying to find a bezel for an 18s case and he said, "here, look through this" and handed me a large cardboard box. After a few minutes (no bezel yet) I found this case. I showed it to him, and without missing a beat he said "what is it"? I said it looks like a silver case, how much do you want for it. He says to me, "it's been in that box for at least the past twenty years and if I haven't used it by now, I never will". He said "how's $40. sound. I said it sounds great and almost caused a mini tornado in the room spinning around trying to find my wallet. I brought it home, used my old Rennaisance stripper.cleaner on it and this is what I have. A solid silver (coin silver) 18s Hunter case with an outside diameter of 2 3/8", and it weighs .135g Other than a few very light scratches from normal use, there isn't a bad mark, dent or ding on the case, anywhere. What do you thing guys and girls? I'd better get looking for another nice KW/KS for it, don't you think? By the way, is there any way to date this case? I sure would appreciate knowing how old it is. By the looks of things it appears to be mid 1800's but that's just an uneducated guess. Inside it's marked "Warranted No. 1 Coin Silver" and the number 6674. Thanks for looking everyone and I look forward to hearing what you think. Bud .

Hello Ernie, Hi Jerry; Mmmmmmmmmm, nice try Jerry. You almost had me there for a sec. I was certainly lucky finding that, and for THAT price too. I couldn't gtet out the door fast enough for fear he might change his mind. Thanks for the nice pat-on-the-back Ernie, Regards to all Bud
