The Price Guide lists it as four star but low-balls the value at $375-$650. The data I have for this is 100 made for "C. Bradford" but with your type of Illinois Dial. Production was February-July, 1883. That means only a Handfull probably still survive. With a good case the auction value should start at $750.00.

One interesting point, this has 17 Jewels but the #2 (Center) wheel is not jewelled, rather the "5Th Pinion" which converts this movement to open face use is Jewelled, so it is really a 15 + 2 Jewel movment.

In 1880-1881, Illinois made 250 Bunn Models with the same Jewelling within s/n range 61201-64300. Yours is rare indeed. A Bunn Quality

Interesting information. It is too bad that it is a "four-star" with such low value!

Thanks again. Watch for my post on my Interstate Chronometer!
