need help for a 1926 Illinois "Click" to Login or Register

Hello,

A clumsy security employee left to fall my dear Illinois pocket watch, and broke its balance staff.

Somebody tell me that in Cas-KerCo I'll could found this part, but I need the watch caliber, and my local watchmaker (Spain) can't see it.

Can you know that caliber knowing serial number (#4799908) or seeing an image of it?

Thank you very much.

Your watch is a 12 size grade 274. It is a pretty common watch and shows up on Ebay a lot--I think you should be able to find parts for it.

Welcome aboard Jose!

According to Illinois records your number 4799908 is a 12-size, Pendant-Set, Open-Face, 21-Jewel, Grade 274 from 1926 production. I believe that "Grade 274" is the information you need.

Let's see what others say,

Lindell

Jose,
You might also need the model number which is 1. There are several 1st model balance staffs for that model. You may wind up sending the old staff as a sample.
