Help Identifying Case "Click" to Login or Register

Does anyone know who the manufacture of this case may be? There are no maker marks that I can see, type of material, or serial number.

Both sides snap on and off. The greenish color side shows the movement. The watch that came with it is a Columbus North Star. Being a "Salesman" style case did Columbus produce this?

Thanks in advance

an assumption or speculation that is reported and repeated so often that it becomes accepted as fact.

I have seen enough references to beaded display cases and Rockford that to me it has become a factoid.

I have seen photos of a couple with Rockford tags as well as a plain one with a Rockford tag, beyond that I cannot offer anything more definitive.
