Well - not a huge fan of the 12sz watches, but after stumbling across this movement tucked away with 30 other movements... Operation save the Rockford went into action
At first glance, thought the roller jewel was just missing. However, after opening my eyes - the actual pallet fork was broken right where the roller jewel moves it back and forth. Ohhhhh crap!!! Now what - Jared Brinker to the rescue... Jared was able to take a pallet fork from a 12sz Rockford 17j movement and fit the pallet fork to the original pinion. WoW!!!
Step 2: find a nice 12sz Hunter case to plant the movement in. Another IHC member had a beautiful 12sz case that needed a new bezel. After digging around for a few days found the bezel that made the case whole again. New glass crystal and back in business.
1st Pocahontas - enjoy!
Thanks Jared and Eugene

From my experience 12 size Rockfords are very scarce. Much more so than 18 size or 16 size. I would estimate less than 20,000 were produced in all grades.
Usually when I see them, then are a movement only or in bad condition. So this one was well worth saving.
