1921 12s Waltham "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Greetings again everyone.
Time for another silly, little find. I found this at an antique store and the thing that caught my attention was the case. I passed it up once and then went back to get it. First, what I know. 12s Waltham, approx. 1921 manufacture date. By no means rare. Now the questions! Is this what they called a Depression Era case? That yellow, plastic crystal just pops right out. Since I don't do repairs myself, is it worth it to send it away and have it cleaned up? I'm guessing it should have a different case. Is this something that anybody would sell on here or is it just like the too small fish that you throw back? I don't really need it, but it really was just too good of a deal to pass up. As always, any and all thoughts and comments are very welcome. Thanks all!
