Unusual gold flashing for Illinois 12 size "Click" to Login or Register

I just picked up an unusual Illinois 12 size 17 jewel grade 405 movement with Gold Flashing.

This damaskeening pattern is more common on 16 and 18 size movements.
From what I have been told this pattern is only seen on medium grade Illinois 12 size watches. While I have 12 size Illinois movements with some gold flashing I have never seen one that was completely covered.

Does anyone else have any 12 size movements that are fully flashed with a pattern--there are Elgin and Hampden 7 jewel mvts with solid flashing but lack a pattern.

Your question reminded my of this 12s watch. I would call this two-tone. The only reason I bought it was because of the interesting movement decoration.
