Columbus Transitional watch "Click" to Login or Register

Hi all,
I really do not know what i have here, and am wondering if it is worthwhile to have repaired, I beleive the only problem is with the winding stem ??
Can someone tell me about this watch as I have been unable to find pretty much nothing in searches so far. It is both stem wind and key wind, with quite a low ser#. Has a really nice H/C, and needs some TLC. Very fancy damaskeened gilt plates and a different type of regulator, unknown how many jewels, but think at least 11 and maybe more, serial number tells me I think 1883/4.
Look at the pics and let me have the good, bad, and ugly please.
Bill

Hi Mike Laforest,
Back in April you posted a list of 15J RR watches, this included models 2 & 3.
This one I have been told has 15 jewels, and is marked adj. on the balance cock, so am wondering if it is one of the older RR approved ones you had mentioned, maybe you could elaborate.
Thanks,
Bill
