I won an 18s two-tone Model 5 Illinois movement from Ray Hallenbeck last year and my quest to re-enervate it landed me on the Parts Wanted boards, trolling for parts. Tom Brown made an extremely generous offer of a nearly complete movement to do as I saw fit. Here is the result:

I used the parts of both movements to assemble one working watch.

My iconic Amish watchmaker turned yet another dented, worn, monogrammed caseback into a showcase for a truly nice movement.

Eric - great job in saving another fine looking watch with the generous help of Tom Brown. It is always a pleasure to see another one brought to life, so to speak. Really pretty damaskeening on this one!
