Another IHC Purchase Brought back to life "Click" to Login or Register

I recently bought a South Bend 298 from Jeff Tibbs in the used section. I had been looking for one for a while as I had a nice case and dial I wanted to put a 298 grade in. When I bought the movement from Jeff, it was running, but had a couple wrong parts and a metal dial that was not very eye catching.

I received it monday and have worked on it the last couple nights bringing it back to its glory. I'm guessing Jeff is going to be calling me now saying he wants it back Big Grin

Transformation complete... Few little spots that couldn't be removed, but that happens over time.
