Wearing a Pocket Watch "Click" to Login or Register

Ok guys, need some help with something.

When I go out to a special occasion, I usually wear a suit with a vest. This allows me to wear my pocket watch as I would normally do.

However, tonight I have to wear my dark suit that has no vest (Christmas Ball).

So, my question is....
What is the correct way to wear a pocket watch with a suit with no vest? (Chain?)

I know that some suits have pants that have a watch pocket...just like the pair of Levi's I'm wearing right now. Inside the right pocket. Brad

I use a short strap or chain and let it hang from my belt into my right front pocket, and make sure there's nothing metallic in there.

I hook my chain to my belt loop nearest the left pocket and keep the watch in the left front pocket with nothing else in that pocket.
