I have an Elgin made Ball 333 18s 17j that is an absolutely amazing watch. It is by far the nicest pocket I own and one of the most accurate it still keeps standard time after all these years!!! I am looking for a correct case for it though I want a ball model case but cannot find one. It is in a 20th century case now and its nice but not right. If anyone of you fine gentlemen have one that you would be willing to part with please let me know I prefer a nickel or coin silver case but gold filled would work fine. Condition is not a huge problem I just want to make it correct. I would pay a nice amount for a nice case.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

I have never found a Ball-Elgin in a perceived as original and marked as "Ball-Model" case, the Ball-Elgins were essentially sold in a time immediately before we find those markings. It would be interesting to see if Rob's case has case-screw marks that line up with Ball-Hamilton movements.

For more check the watches shown here in Ball-Elgin (all were 18size) Images then look at these posts for additional information on this subject...
