One of the watches on my wish list for 2016 is a Waltham with a serial number of less than 5,000.
I collect watches with early serial numbers.

For me would do 12s South Bend's Digital and directors. Dreaming is a good thing

Oddly enough, finding a 'high end' name brand Mickey Mouse wrist watch sometime in 2016 interests me. Not sure why.

Just picked up an Elgin grade 506 wind indicator marked adj6p vs the typical adj5p marking. Great dial and nice movement and hands. Had been taking a break from watches after the move to Michigan and trying to get the house ready for winter.

Life was hectic since August 2014, company was head cutting (downsizing) and they were moving groups so I was destined to end up back in Michigan (May 2015)and between looking for a house, fixing up the house I found, and getting it ready for winter I did not have much time for watches or much of anything else.

Well, you've been missed, my friend.

Anytime I see the world 'Elgin' in a subject title, I come looking for your replies....and they haven't BEEN there for a while.
