The signature is nice, but the date makes it real interesting. I'll have to dig around to see when Josiah Moorhouse was in "official" employment at E. Howard. Close to that date.
I've thought for a while that he freelanced during his career - some telltale signs, but nothing certain. If anyone knows the E. Howard dates for sure, please post it.
