I would like to know ,if the jeweled motor barrels used on 19&23 jewel Hamilton 18 sizes,are jeweled like those on the 23 jewel Hampden's, or are they a different setup where the barrel is actually running in the jewels, and not just while winding?I have 2 motor barrel 18S Hamiltons, a 936 and a 940, which aren't jeweled, are they the same setup but without the jewels? I remember a while back Dave Abbe did a great motor barrel explanation on the 23J Hampden barrels,so I've been wondering if Hamilton did theirs the same way.Thanks!, Ted.
