Anyone that can help identify the L.B.B. on the 18s early Hamilton is appreciated. I know where Litchfield, Mich. is as I lived near there years ago. Just windered is L.B.B. was a jeweler or watch inspector ?? Thanks to all.

Possibly a special order for the owner of the local mercantile, the mayor, or ? Back then you could have anything you wanted put on a dial and/or a movement.

I would tend to think it is a jeweler that could have been an inspector. If there were any rail lines running through Litchfield and it had a depot then it might have been an inspector but Webb Ball tended to frown on personalized dials.
I would see if Litchfield has a historical society, if so send a picture of your dial along with the time frame it was produced and see if they might know what L B B stands for.
