Hello,

I saw this wristwatch from German made with 921 movement.

The same company made others models with others old Hamilton movements.

The link is TOURBY WATCHES

I have to say, these watches look as nice as a modern time only Breguet and in my opinion embody a very respectful reincarnation of these great Hamilton movements. I would wear one and the prices aren't too bad either.

There is someone on ebay that sells these cases and you can install most 12 size movements into it. That would make for and interesting watch, tonight Elgin, tomorrow Hamilton, next day Waltham, South Bend here I come, move over for Hampden etc. The have a display back just like this one but it shows the the original dial only catch it would have to be a pendent set but that is not an issue for most 12 size movements. Made of stainless steel and for the price of $125 + shipping probably not a bad deal.

I will have to look again since I stumbled on it last night then took it out of my watch list. Looks like the one shown above except that it does not have the fancy lettering on the back area. The seller specifically mentioned an Elgin 12 size movement but said other movement would/could fit but should be measured first. He also mentioned using a hunter movement so that the seconds bit would display properly, the one above has the seconds bit adapted for an OF movement.

Here is one on eBay now featuring the Tourby case, dial and hands and a much harder to find Hamilton 923. Been drooling over this one for a while.
