Here is my latest rescue. It was being sold as parts and I managed to acquire the movement and the dial. It is a 16 size, 21 jewel,Bunn Special with the fishscale demaskeen pattern. Less than 2500 of them were done this way and it is a pleasant change from the 150,000 or so of the 4th rayed pattern so commonly seen on ebay. It seems to be running just fine but in a borrowed case. I borrowed a case from another watch for now and will look for some nicer hands.

I bought the movement and dial for about $300 so I don't know as the seller made much selling it as parts. Glad to keep it alive though and at least the two can be kept together.

Great acquisition Steve, the less common variants like this one are stand-outs in any collection. And the good feeling of keeping an original watch together adds greatly to the enjoyment.

Steve,

Great save of a rare movement. Hope you can find a nice case for it. They are getting scarcer all the time it seems.
