Gothic E. Howard dial "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I read an old thread by Dr. Clint Geller re scarce E. Howard dials and thought I would post this.
I read the name as C. H. Holdridge. I have not been able to find any info on this name. The back of the dial is signed Ohara Co. Waltham, Mass. The movement is an N size in nickel, raised gold jewel settings adjusted heat cold on balance bridge. Serial # 47657.
I would appreciate any comments. I have learned more about pocket watches the last two weeks as a new IHC185 member than the last 43 years I have been a ***** member. Thanks to all of you.

Welcome Aboard Dennis!

All of the signed Ohara or O'hara dials are special and having it be a "runic" dial makes your dial even more uncommon. It will be interesting to see if any direct information about C. H. Holdridge develops.

Your kind comments about IHC are very much appreciated.
