Sweet combination with the wide-chapter DS Blind Man's Numerical dial. The crossbar case came out in 1924, so it's entirely correct for a 1925 992. Moreover, if the case number starts with "01" it is most likely original to your 1925 watch.

Ed the case number starts with 02. The watch was bought new in 1926. I saw the bill of sale from the jeweler in Nevada City. Could not get the receipt it is with other family papers they are keeping.
