Nice 104 Claude! Was that the one that was on the big auction site that had a worn out case and a broken mainspring? I really like the fancy barrel jewel setting on those, my 19J Railway has that too. Regards, Ted.

Yes the case was used and at best can be polished and used a daily driver since not much is left. The mainspring is toast but it does not have much in the way of screwdriver slips and such. I have the model 4 but not the model 5 23j 104.

That was a pretty good deal,I haven't seen a nice 104 for such a reasonable price in a long time. The second hand looks a little bogus. That will make a great watch!...Ted.

I think I paid a bit more for my model 4 104 and it needed a coa also so I was ok with the price. The staff is ok so it will just be a coa and a mainspring and I have put it into a different case already and I have some 17j McK's that I can change dial and hands with.

As always people tend to overlook Hampdens and sometimes look down on them. I have the model 4 version of this one, along with the 19j model 5 but I need the 19j model 4
