I am looking at a card of swiss replacement second hands, 18s for Waltham. From my measurements a Waltham requires a .27mm hole.

The posts on the watches I want to use these on are .30mm. Can these be broached that much or should I look for something with a bigger hole?

Lorne, without a doubt you need broaches for second hands. Better undersized and then broach to fit.
