I'm sure some of you have seen these, but I thought it was great. I like it. Perfect secret place for the 2-3 Silver Dollars I carry around in my purse.

First purse watch i have ever seen.Neat item, where did you find it?

This is kind of an odd item to me. Put yourself in the place of a pickpocket in the day of this purse/watch, Here he'd be thinking he was lifting a pocketwatch, when in reality he was lifting someone's money purse! Would he be pleased, or put out?

Remember that in its day, this purse watch might have been used to carry gold coins, which were legal tender prior to 1933 and could have been much more valuable than the watch one would normally expect to find in a case like this, then or now.

It breaks my heart, but it's not mine, I watched it for days on ebay, but when it hit over $75.00 I gave up for another one I had already bid on.

I wish I did own it, actually I wish I had stuck with it. Oh well, live and learn.
