Marjorie was gifted this watch from some people who knew her husband was a watch person. They assured her it was a very high grade RR watch . . .

This is a FIRST! The working battery powered WW movement shows on the front nestled between a pair of <1mm thick totally fake mechanical winding type movement plates shows on the back side.

The absolute epitome of fakery. Very precisely photo-etched hairspring included! This object is wasting space in our real universe!

The "hairspring" looks like a cooling tower, eh?

The peeling off sticker says it all - sigh

David,

Well, that's quite unique, especially when one considers that this faux watch appears to imitate the classic plate layout of the badly made & cheap, yet somewhat reliable Chinese made 2650G skeletonized movement....which was probably made by the millions. It looks like some actual plates and pieces are used in your fabulous "high grade" horological art piece...just not a complete running movement..which seems even weirder because you can buy these for about $13.00 each...right HERE.

William

P.S. mega, ultra rare with a nice patina.
