Premiere Maximus: Wind indicator? "Click" to Login or Register

I got a line on one of these, a Premiere Maximus, this morning, and it has winding indicator. Roy Ehrhardt's book seems to indicate that they all do. Can someone corroborate that?

As I understand it they all do. There was one just closed on eBay the other day, no bids at $14,000. Funny thing is that the seller was willing to ship to Canada with USPS First Class Mail International with no tracking. The one on eBay was #17000132 from the first run of 201.

You are jumping in with both feet, do you know the serial # of the one you are looking at?

This case is 14K but some of them are in 18K cases.

From what I have read the first ones sold came in cases that have the same serial #'s as the watch but there are also examples in the proper cases but the case numbers don't match the one on the movement.

Case back. Actually Ed, maybe this should go in Pitfalls as this may be relisted on eBay.

Lorne -- The piece I am speaking of is in the original case, of course, and I know the provenance.

The first run was 17000000 to 17000200 (201) and the second (I am doing this from memory so I hope I get it right) was 17057001 to 17058000 (1000).

The guys who are keeping a database of these have not heard of a second run watch numbered above 17057300 so there is speculation thet only 300 were made in the second run.

All this info is here on IHC, just do a Premier Maximus search.
