While reconciling my collection list to reality, I came across a very clean, plain looking but fairly rare 17J RR Grade Hampden . . .

This 1898 Vintage s/n 1052145 series is referred to as the "Three Ball" model Adjusted, RR Grade. Musing on it's 17J movement, I wonder if Mr. Dueber was retaliating against Ball's comments about "Smokestack Jewels"! Wink
