Has any one heard of a Victor Lathe,

I bought a watchmakers lathe that was advertised as a Boley but is actually marked Victor.

Hello Eugene

Victor is a brand of bigger industrial lathes.

When it comes to watchmaker lathes it could be 'Vector'.

Could you please give some more informations.

Regards
Gerald

It does say The Victor Made in USA HR. I'm going to see if I can find it in any of my old watch tool books.

Ok I got the end caps off and it is a Ball Bearing type Lathe. I guess I'll keep this one and sell some others.

My guess is they where competing with Boley.

Eugene-
The "HR" might be Hammel-Riglander, a watch and jewelry supply house like Marshall and Schwarzchild. I've seen some "HR"-marked lathe accessories on fleabay.

Regards,
Bob
