When did Hamilton introduce their 12 size pocket watch? What was the year and what was the first serial number range?

The first Hamilton 12-size (a grade 900) was made around 1910. The serial number range assigned is 1750001-1761000. This particular watch was sold recently on eBay.

Yes, it's a very nice watch. Too bad it doesn't fit in a standard 12s case.
