Hi Dave, Great pic! How far away were you from your subject? Larry F. Ok guys, I know you are holding out on me. Let's see those beautiful pocket watches encased in those gorgeous buck watch cases! Stephanie O'Neil
Stephanie & Jim, I took that picture about 2 months ago, I'd estimate I was about five feet away from him. We have a bunch of bucks just like the one shown that we regularly feed, quite often by hand. Right now they're all a bit skittish since it's in the middle of rutting & hunting season. Hi Dave, That's awesome! Can't blame them for being skiddish at this time. Deer season, how could anyone harm them. Stephanie O'Neil
Take a look at this one, unfortunately not mine. (Carlos, thanks for the resize) Niello case circa early 1800's Stephanie O'Neil

THANKS SHEILA! That's the spirit! You don't have to be 5 again to sing! If only we had audio, we would know whether or not you can carry a tune. BACK TO THE BUCKS For anyone interested in learning more regarding the Niello shown above, take a look! Movement Who's got the Bucks? Stephanie O'Neil

Er ist mein Vater. That picture was taken in the 1950's. Dad is 75 now and still likes to go hunting. Larry

Hi Phil, Thanks for your participation. That's one fine watch! Joseph T. Collins/Sheila Gilbert / teamwork Thanks! Hi David J. What a beautiful case. The detail in the engraving is remarkable. May I ask what's inside? Anyone care to guess before David responds? Others with Bucks? Big ones, little ones? Stephanie O'Neil
David Johnson, May we ascertain which manufacture, size, etc. etc. on your beautiful case shown above? Stephanie O'Neil
The Buck is alive and well with this one!

Hi Steph, As with a lot of solid gold hunters, there is nothing fancy under the hood of mine. A clean, 18 size, 15J, Grade 80, Signed "H.H. Taylor" Elgin. Nice, heavy 14K case though.
A little late but here it is mine. This is the Rockford I got from mi amigo Lindell. It is really a nice case and waiting for restoration (number 5 in the line, unfortunately "too many watches, to little time" as Andy Krietzer says, ok he is in clocks but anyways)
Phil Hi David J., Very nice watch. Great pictures, thanks for participating! Carlos, Is your case silver or gold? Thanks for participating! Stephanie O'Neil
Stephanie, My new old antique watch case is silver, here is a picture of the entire case, it is a nice combination with the Rockford movement.. very nice..
