Bunn Special Question "Click" to Login or Register

This is for Lindell. Earlier in the year you sold a watch to Joe Jones. It was a 21J 60 hour watch. I have the same watch with identical dial, hands and case. The serial numbers are 4754752/7202561. I am still confused as to the time scales of these watches. My dating of the watch make it a 1926 watch. Is this too early for this combination?

Hi Jerry,

Looks like it fits neatly into the "Illinois Bunn Special Listings" with both the movement and case numbers squared up fitting into other 1926 examples as well as factory advertising for that same time-frame. The one I sold was 4962597 in case number 7550782 from the following year. Both numbers being just a bit higher, these two watches make sense according to the other numbers shown.

Your watch might likely be an original combination.

Lindell
