I just picked up a pvt label Waltham 1883 and could not find any information on..

Should be according to the 1930 census New Berlin NY, Charles A. Holmes born about 1862 in New York. Listed as a jeweler own store. He is married to Carrie born in NY about 1874.

If I find more I will let you know.

In 1910 he was in New Berlin & still as a jeweler with own store. His wife however is listed as Ella M.

The 1910 Chenango County New York Directory lists him as a jeweler & bicycles in the Villiage of New Berlin

The 1900 census for New Berlin lists him as being born October 1861. Ella is listed as his wife in 1900, 10 & 20. The Carrie in 1930 so perhaps he remarried or it was a mistake.

Not sure if this is him in 1880, it is the same county & the same year of birth. He is living with his parents in Columbus, Chenango NY, Charles occ. is listed as at home, he has a brother Frank born 1864 listed as at school. The parents are Isaac born 1831 a farmer & Abba born 1833. All were born in NY

Well I found another Charles born 1861 in that same county in NY, his parents were Jason & Louisa. They are in the 1870 census for Columbus, Chenango, NY.

So I am not sure which one is is. Jason is a farmer.

I found Isaac listed but did not find anything on Charles.

Your welcome Ed, I haven't been able to find anything other than the census records of 1870-1880-1900-1910-1920-1930. I was hoping to find him in a city directory or something.

If they ever had any children they are not listed on any of the census records.
