I was wondering if there is more appropriate Hamilton 16s four foot movement to put a Ferguson dial on, such as the 950, 992 etc.

Tom,

You could check the Gelson List for movements in the 1906-1910 era for the various Hamilton movements that would have been equipped with 4-foot dials.

Since the Ferguson dials were an after-market item anyone could have purchased one for their watch, not unlike adding accessories to a car or truck.

I have always been intrigued by the thought of fashioning a correct looking set of hands if that would interest you.

Be well my friend,

Lindell

Thanks Lindell

Yes my next step was trying to locate some hands that would work.
