Ok everyone I need your opinions on this Illinois now. I picked it up today with several other high end RR watches. They were all real clean so I paid a little more than normal.

Another good one.

This is a 163A Type II P and the "P" means Elinvar is on the pillar plate. A few minutes ago we added this one to our Bunn Special 163, 163-E, and 163-A "The Seven Stars" Database for those looking into these things. Smile The marked dial and Model 206 Case complete a package that may well be an original combination.

Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thanks Clyde it was a pleasure to actually find such a nice collection so close to home. 1/2 hour away. I always question when someone calls me about a dozen or so watches and he mentions they are all RR watches. At times you go out and they are a dollar watch with a train on the back cover which makes it a RR watch. But I figured so close to home it was easier to run over and see. All were super shape so nice like to rub on them a while before selling. Big Grin THe first 163 is in better shape than this second one I posted a picture of. You can see some chiken scratches on the movement plus dial shows a hairline but has the same 60 hour dial. Same case also but it also shows wear. THe others RR's I picked up shine like new. Big Grin
