I wnted to tell you folks here how much I have enjoyed the info presented here, from the forum I got a 4th wheel and second hand for a 16 sz Father Time Elgin, got it put in by Rob Carter in Tn. I had had this watch since 1972 and had no idea how to get it fixed until this forum. I used to buy a lot of watches from Rose Ind. in Chicago that bought gold I got some real treasures from them the best being an 845 21j Waltham movement for 15.00 in good runing condition, the Father Time, also a 19j B W Raymond 16 sz. So you know I found the forum on the Smith & Wesson forum and book marked and now am a paid member. Thanks for the enjoyment!

Welcome Jeff! I too an new to this forum and found it to be the best by far. The info from our fellow members is valuable beyond the cost of sending a watch out for repair, when with a little tip or two from this site you're able to do the repair yourself.
Roland.

It's what I love about this forum. No one's ever made me feel silly because I didn't know something or asked a really basic question. I've been on other forums where the people just make you feel like a complete fool.
This is a very positive environment.
And Lindell once called me personally to help me out with a problem. I'm still floored by how nice that was.
