I have two Elgins that I have little information on. The first is a 16s Model 5, SN 4920409. I know it was made in 1892, it is a grade 104 and, that grade 104 was the first 16s OF style, first 16s Mdl 5, and the first pend setting 16s according to the database. They made 136,000 of them so, does this watch have any significance as a result of being so "common"?

The mvmt. Some "person" scratched an initial into the plate Mad This watch was a mess when I got it and needed cleaning, and a mainspring. I did both and now it runs well AND keepss pretty good time!

I can't really find a price range for either of these in the Fat Book. I may not be looking in the right spot. I have this as a grade 170, class 10, made in 1898. Any help is welcome.
