Hi Jeff,
We'd all like to help but we need a little more info. What is the size? Is there anything on the back of the movement?
Want to help,

Jeffrey,

Number 2597810 is from a run consisting of 2597601-2598000 and should be a 16-size, Pendant-Set, Open-Face, Model 7, Grade 604 according to the Illinois Encyclopedia. Looking further, the 604 was an Unadjusted "medium-quality" grade and will most likely be a 17-Jewel with nearly 17,000 produced.

Hope this is of help to your friend.

Lindell
