I got this Illinois hunting and wonder two things. 1. Is it a model #5? 2. After som reasearch a mod #5 suppose to be a railroad grade watch. How can that be, they were not suppose to be hunting cases or am I wrong. Quite happy about the picture, I´m learning ![]() Bernhard "the swede" ![]() | ||

My information parallels Wayne's with the addition of it being a Grade 69, a very good watch. At the point when it was built I believe Hunter-Cased watches were still accepted in time service by many Rail-Roads. Soon after the Open-Faced qualification caused them to eventually be phased out.
