Here is a watch I cannot find good info on.I have done a Google search and found one listing where this co was in business for only one year. another source say parent co. have been unable to find anything like it in the Complete guide to watches.Nothing on the movement except serial number and safety pinion. there are several tapped holes on the barrel bridge Thanks in advance for any help. That one was made by the Trenton Watch Co. U.S.A. It is an 18sz, Model 3, I believe, made in the 1890's. regards, bb | |||

The Trenton Model three movement was recognized as their "convertible" movement as well. The gold book refers to the "Peerless" Trenton as a Model 5 (ea866) full plate type. Either the Dial (very nice example) was switched later, or assembled by Trenton. Not important really, but it all makes this a very interesting collectible. | |||

Yes David after Buster directed me to the right spot I found out that is watch could have been a Chronograph. That explains the taped holes on the barrel plate.I also wondered about the dial being right. Thanks. Wayne | ||||
