That one was made by the Trenton Watch Co. U.S.A.

It is an 18sz, Model 3, I believe, made in the 1890's.

The Trenton Model three movement was recognized as their "convertible" movement as well. The gold book refers to the "Peerless" Trenton as a Model 5 (ea866) full plate type. Either the Dial (very nice example) was switched later, or assembled by Trenton. Not important really, but it all makes this a very interesting collectible.

Yes David after Buster directed me to the right spot I found out that is watch could have been a Chronograph. That explains the taped holes on the barrel plate.I also wondered about the dial being right. Thanks. Wayne
