I've never seen one of these, but have heard that RR watch inspectors often gave out inspection card holders to railroaders, with their business name printed on them.Sounds like a great way for them to advertize, anyone have any of them? Chances are they probably got thrown out pretty often, like the case papers watchmakers used to put in case backs.I remember when car dealers and garages gave out key fobs and holders for advertizing, I imagine these card holders would be a nice thing to collect. Thanks, Ted.

Ted my friend in Alabama sent me a comment on this topic. He said you were expected to have your inspection card with you while you worked, the same as you were expected to have your pocket watch with you.
He also commented that most jewelers would give you an inspection card holder when you purchased a RR watch from them, clearly to promote their business via advertising and giving you something to hold your inspection card.
He comment was that collecting the holder could be as much fun as collecting inspection cards.
