Need help with Elgin just purchased "Click" to Login or Register

Hi all,
Elgin website seems to be downFrown So I thought maybe you guys could help me since I don't know much about watches (I'm a vintage jewelry galSmile
I have an open face Elgin and serial # is 7732365. This is what I DO know:
1897-1898
7 Jewels
Lever set-Stem Wind
And thats all….
Does anyone know grade, who made, or anything else important about watch?
It would help me out tons!! Thanks a million

Your watch is an 18sz, 7 Jewel and should be a stem wind/stem set but it could be a lever set.

It was made in 1899 and is a grade 172.

Who made it ?? Uhhh Elgin made it Smile

A very common 7 jewel watch.
