Hi all, Elgin website seems to be down ![]() ![]() I have an open face Elgin and serial # is 7732365. This is what I DO know: 1897-1898 7 Jewels Lever set-Stem Wind And thats all…. Your watch is an 18sz, 7 Jewel and should be a stem wind/stem set but it could be a lever set. It was made in 1899 and is a grade 172. Who made it ?? Uhhh Elgin made it ![]() A very common 7 jewel watch. regards, bb | |||
