I picked up an Illinois grade 183 private label movement off ebay. While I was looking at the pictures I noticed that the train appears to be gold, the escape wheel appears to be brass. This is a Getty bridge type movement with a serial number that places its production about 1905. Was this common amoung the Illinois 15j movements to have a gold train? | |||
