Back around 1978, or so, I owned a 14 or 16 size open face Waltham, with a fancy blue dial in a gold filled case, and had my full name (MARTIN WAGNER) engraved on the back cover in large Old English text. If memory serves there was nothing fancy about this watch, just a 17 jewel movement, with the blue numbers on the dial. At that time I was living just north of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley, around Reseda or one of those other small towns that have now grown into one mass of humanity. I know that this is the 'mother' of all shots-in-the-dark, but would very much like to find that watch if still extant. If any of you fine folks has ever seen it, or owns it, I sure would like to know about it. Thanks for any help, Marty | ||
