Richard M. JonesHi Peter, Your watch is a Railroad Grade watch and if you look on page 23 Illustration 7 of the Hampden book you will see a very similar watch. It has correct hands and should have a Dueber anchor dial but that is minor. Nice Anchor grade watch and worth a little TLC. I have several Dueber "Railway" marked cases, which were made in hunter and open face, and if you can find one your watch would be perfect in that case. A very attractive and nice example.

Richard M. JonesPeter I should add that your dial is correct for the period and may have been original to the watch as you could have what you wanted, however the Dueber anchor dial is what is usually seen. Those are harder to find.

David AbbePeter, those are rare and valuable Crescent or 1/2 moon hands. Be "VERY careful when you deal with them.
