I recently purchased a Veritas #270. I've wanted one for quite some time and got a good deal;the only trouble was the BWR dial and "Swissy" hands. I have a perfect DS Monty for this pocket but I'm still searching for the hands-the only pic' I've seen is in "Pocket Watch Discussions" on 12/21/06, page 2. Lindell has a pic' of a #270 with a Santa Fe dial-sweet! But if anyone can give me a lead on those hands I'd be in their debt. I'll add a couple pic's - thanks-
Lindell and Aaron, my friends-you guys always have your hands out.Thank you...and Lindell, why is it I can learn to take a pocket watch apart but I have trouble with this "cut and paste" stuff? (Ha-ha-sheesh!) Both of you take care -
Any proceeds from these hands will be paid to the IHC 185 as a donation. Marty if they will work for you please pay the club with PayPal If they are not what you are looking for we will keep trying. Thanks, Aaron

Marty was having difficulties changing his dial so I suggested sending it and the watch along and I'd take care of everything. He liked that idea because then if something breaks it will be my fault.
But seriously the dial is now changed and I fit a set of original Elgin hands.
So, tell us what you think...

Lindell: I can barely recognize this as mine! What a difference! Now this pocket looks like it should-those hands really set off the dial. Beautiful. My friend,I am in your debt. Thank you.
I've got a 21j grade 360 which is currently caseless. When I find a case I'll ship it off for cleaning etc. The hands were bad but I just got some for it so that's one thing done.
Best, Tom O.
